Shades
Shades of green
Rustling through the trees
Brought out of their serenity
By a cool summer breeze
Shades of blue
With patches of marshmellow white.
The sky moves by,
As the sun burns bright.
Shades of yellow
Lighting up the skies
With the stars, by night,
As they enter their wonderous flight.
Shades of love
That constantly surround me
I don't know what color it is
But I know it's there...somewhere.
Shades of hate
We see everyday-
You can tell it be their actions
And the games that peopls play.
Shades of change
Never ending or beginning...
Never stopping to catch it's breath...
Always running on, blindly.
Shades of questions
Always asked but never spoken:
Only expressions on faces
And if you miss it...you're lost.
Shades of loneliness
People often feel.
The emptiness of no one close
Shouldn't be real...but it is.
