As of today, September 1, 1998, I have added the 1840 Perry County Census to my page. Many of the people on this census may be found in the 1820 Floyd County Census and in the 1850 Letcher County Census, which I may transcribe at some time. It is much larger chore than the early censuses, because it contains so much more information.I have added two early tax lists which include some names which may not be found on the census
