Meet the Northwest Nanny Association board members!

President - Kathleen Barrick E-mail
Hello from Kathleen ~ The Northwest Nanny Association has
provided a great way for me to meet a lot of capable professional care-givers. I helped to
found the NWNA in March 1996 during a dinner conversation with fellow nannies, when the
discussion had turned into a brain-storming session on how to get nannies together in the
sometimes secluding profession that we have chosen. I have been a nanny for 4 years. My
charge, Lara, is a 2 year old fireball who keeps me quite busy! I appreciate the
opportunities for playdates and field-trips that NWNA hasprovided for us to experience.
Treasurer - Kris White E-mail
Welcome. I am Kris the money girl. I am working and chasing in Issaquah with
Megan 3, and Justin 2. Looking forward to all the fun activities and community
service coming up.
Secretary - Jenny Brown (E-mail coming
soon)
Hello from me - Jenny. I
am the new NWNA Secretary. I have been a nanny for 4 years. Currently I have
two nanny jobs, one in Seattle, and one in Kirkland. I am very excited to be
involved in the NWNA and look forward to meeting all of you at the playdates and nanny
outings. I am going to be working towards greater involvement and more turnout at
our scheduled activities. I welcome your comments and ideas. Have a happy day!

>From
your newsletter editor.... I am in my 3rd year with NWNA and my 10th year as a
nanny. My current job on Mercer Island is great and I see myself staying
for at least several more years. Travis will be 3 in January and Nathan is 14 months
though he weighs in at 2 1/2 years. They are really keeping me on the move.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming playdates (new faces and old).
We are planning to Adopt-A-Family for Christmas this year, it should be very
rewarding. If you would like to participate, e-mail me or any other board member.
I am always available for questions or comments, fell free to e-mail me anytime.
