Pee-Wee football league games begin

He may be small, but Alex White already knows the basics of football - tackle 'em and steal the coveted object. While that object is generally a football, in White's case it was a truck.

"I couldn't believe it when he took down a child twice his age," said his mother, Tamara Abbey. "He really wanted that truck and wasn't about to take 'no' for an answer."

The truck's owner was nearly as determined to maintain possession of the truck. He held the truck up out of White's reach, but that failed to deter him.

"Alex just grabbed the kid around the waist, wrestled him to the floor and took off with the truck," Abbey added. "The poor kid didn't know what hit him."

Tony's mother was just as surprised and shocked about the sudden tackle. She immediately joked about the new nose tackle for the Packers.

"I thought you were raising a quarterback," she joked. "He seems to be after Reggie White's job instead."

White has since learned that tackling is not always the way to go. His mother and father are both working on the concept of sharing. Although, his father, Rick White, can't help but chuckle about his son's new found skill.

"Took him all the way down," Rick said. "That's my boy."
