        ~ Class Format~

      • Please be sure to bring your workbook / journal each week. It has been our experience that success in this program will be directly affected by the time you spend in prayer, reading your Bible, doing your homework and your class time use.

Video Each video is approximately 60 minutes in length. If you have questions they will probably be answered on the audio tape assigned. No need to take notes just relax and enjoy video.

        After Video:
We separate into our groups of 15 or less for prayer and discussion.

Ephesians 5: 19,20 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

      • Group Time:
        First session:
Each class member should 30- 60 second to introduce themselfs and share a little about how they came to be here. We are all are here by no mistake!

        During future class sessions:
We will ask for one or two positive WD related testimonies, jewels or ways of escape each week. This is meant as a time for mutual encouragement and positive sharing. Please refrain from turning it into a therapy session where class time is dominated with problems. Our class time is about WD and our focus will be a positive one centered on our submissive obedience to our Lord.

      • 6:50 - 7:00
        Prayer requests:
Request prayer for your own submission to God and your own need for more obedience to God if you have not fully obeyed. Any extended or other specific prayer requests or weekly concerns should be shared with your weekly prayer partner or with your accountability partner or desert buddy'. Please prayerfully seek the Lord first in all things. We recommend that you use prayer journal in your workbook to record requests and praises.

      • Prayer Cards and Weekly Prayer Partners:
Purpose: Mutual class accountability, encouragement and prayer.
Each week there will be an index card provided with each class member's name and personal contact information on it. Each of us will take anothers card and be someone's specific prayer partner and encourager for that week. You should be sure to ask them if they have any special needs or concerns to prayer for. Don't forget to ask them how they are doing at some point during the week and at weeks end! Some examples of ways you can encourage: electronic greetings, a card through the mail, phone calls, an invitation to coffee etc. Note the special prayer request now posted on the front of the cards.

      • After Class Fellowship:
Please feel free to stay after meeting for a few minutes for open fellowship.

~God's kingdom is one of submission and obedience knowing that His agenda is more important to Him than ours. "Your kingdom come, Your will be done." It is an kingdom of order and peace and love. May we experience more and more of this in our households!~

Class will be approximately 1 ½ - 2 hours long.

      • Resource / Handouts table:
Please feel free to help yourself. This table is for weekly class handouts, resource flyers, poems and other encourgement materials. Feel free to contribute.

      • Missed video makeup policy:
It is our hopes that none of you will need to miss any of the classes. We know that sometimes this cannot be helped. We will have a video sign-up sheet at all monday night meetings so that you may request those that you would like to see. We will contact you for arrangements. Ultimately each class participant is responsible to be at all the meetings. However, we would like to help as many as possible to see all the videos and will try to help you do so. But, due to a busy family schedule, we can make no promises. We cannot duplicate or lend out the tapes.

      • WDW scholarship fund:
Please place any donations in scholarship fund jar on the resource table. It is our hope for each class to sponser at least one person who would not other wise be able to attend the seminar for the next session

      • Accountability Partner
What has God taught you this week? How has God delivered you so far? What has God shown you so far? Sharing can encourage and bless others and yourself as well. A ‘desert buddy' or prayer or accountability partner can be a very helpful and encouraging as we leave Egypt and start our trek through the desert sands of testing. You should prayerfully seek a personal ‘desert buddy'. A personal ‘desert buddy' can be from within the group or it may be a friend or someone from your church. When you have a problem, the first person you should go to with it is always God. Sometimes the council of friends can be a good thing but please seek the will of our Lord first in all things.
