The Enemy

We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
What can hold people back from entering the Kingdom of God? We are told that sin causes people to be seperated from God. When a person or a community lives a life of sinfulness, they are giving demons authority over themselves. These evil spirits will hold onto thier captives and will seek to keep them on the path to hell.

People must be freed from both thier own sin and the spiritual entities over them. Sin and demons draw strength each other. This vicious cycle can only be broken by the power of Christ.
