Mississippi Mud Pie



Ingredients:

1 Cup Powdered Sugar
1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Morsels
1/4 cup oleo, cut up
1/4 Cup Whipping Cream
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped pecans
2 pints coffee ice cream, divided
Prepared chocolate crumb crust



Combine sugar, chocolate morsels, butter, cream, & syrup in a small pan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth.
Stir in Vanilla & cool.
Put 1/3 of this sauce in the bottom of the crust. Sprinkle with 1/3 of nuts. Put 1 pint of ice cream over the nuts. Freeze for 10 minutes.
Repeat layer.
Top with last 1/3 of sauce & nuts. Freeze for at least 1 hour or until ready to serve.
