Rejection not Complete nor Final}
1~~I
{Paul} say then,
the
God has not {me} repudiated/rejected/'cast off' {apotheomai}
His
people {the Jews} has He? Definitely not!
{Idiom: literally 'let it not become so'}
For
I {Paul} also am/'keep on being' an Israelite . . .
from
the tribe of Benjamin.
{Note: The best soldiers in Israel were from the tribe of Benjamin. This means to be of the tribe of Benjamin was a very good thing.}
{Note: RBT does not include the following phrase, which is in the KJV 'from the seed of Abraham . . .'. Paul was from the seed of Abraham, so this is an accurate phrase but it must not be in the original manuscript.}
2-3~~The
God has absolutely not {ouk}
repudiated/rejected/'cast
off' {apotheomai}
His
people {Jewish believers}
whom
He has foreknown {proginosko}.
Or
do you absolutely not {ouk} know what the scripture
says
about Elijah {I Kings 19:10,14}
when
he pleaded/prosecuted {entugchano}
to
the God against {indicted} Israel . . . 3~~
"Lord,
they have killed {apokteino}
Your
prophets {prophetes}.
They
have torn down {kataskapto}
Your
altars {thusiasterion}.
In
fact, I {Elijah}
'am
the only one left'/'alone {kago monos} was left'
{hupoleipo - it is true Elijah said this, but this is false},
and
they seek My life/soul {psuche}
{he said this and it is true}."
{Note: At the end of verse 2 the KJV added 'saying' but RBT said that is not in the original manuscripts.}
4~~But
what is the divine response {chrematismos}
to
him {Elijah} {I Kings 19:18}?
"I
{God} have kept {kataleipo} for Myself
{a pivot/remnant of} seven thousand 'honorable people' {aner},
who
{because of their spiritual maturity}
have
not bowed a knee to Baal."
5~~Therefore,
in the same manner also,
at
this present period of time {Church Age}
a
pivot/remnant {leimma}
has
come into existence {ginomai}
according
to 'a selection'/'an election' {ekloge}
by
means of grace {G.A.P.}.
{Note: Election to privilege is the privilege to advance to maturity and help form the 'salt of the land' principal - those who preserve the country from historical disaster - by being part of the pivot of believers. Israel was the first client nation to God. When they went out in 70 AD, the Roman Empire became the first Gentile client nation to God. Client nations will all be Gentile nations until the Tribulation.}
6~~Now,
if by means of grace
-
and it is {1st class condition} -
then
{logically} absolutely not by means of works.
Otherwise
{logically}
grace
. . . absolutely no longer is/becomes {ginomai}
grace
itself.
{Note: The KJV added to the original 'otherwise work is no more work' which is not only not part of the original, but is not true.}

Blot Out Does Not Hinder the Plan of God}
7~~Therefore,
to what conclusion are we forced?
{Idiom: literally: 'what then?'}
What
Israel is constantly seeking
{the approbation of God - salvation via their works/self-
righteousness},
this
{salvation by works} it did not obtain.
But
the election/elect {believers} {ekloge}
have
obtained it {salvation by faith} . . .
but
the rest/others {loipoy} {unbelieving Jews}
were
hardened/'covered with scar tissue' {poroo}
{scar tissue of the soul, arrogance etc. -
they had to blot it out in their thinking}.
{Note: Jews are usually very logical thinkers. So, when one points out that the Messiah who was prophesied to come would come of a virgin and would die on wood - and this is exactly what Jesus Christ did - well their minds will not allow them to be illogical - but they have been taught that Jesus is not the Messiah and these ones accepted the lie as truth - so they can only just blot out the Fact and say 'I don't want to talk about it any more. This is the great blot out.}
8~~Just
as it stands written
{Isaiah 29:10; Deuteronomy 29:4; Isaiah 6:9,10},
the
God has given to them
{Jewish unbelievers and reversionistic believers}
'a
state of mind'/spirit {pneuma} of insensibility {katanuxis}
{scar tissue of the soul from their own negative volition i.e.
arrogance} . . .
eyes
for the purpose of not seeing {lack of concentration},
ears
for the purpose of not hearing
{lack of mental reception of message} . . .
until
this very day.

And David said {quote from Psalm 69:22-23},
"Let
their table {referring to the Jewish spiritual heritage}
'be
made'/become {ginomai}
a
snare {pages}
{referring to the hearing of doctrine and the gospel} . . .
and
a trap {thera}
{referring to the ritual gospel of Jews - ritual without reality} .
. .
and
a stumbling-block {skandalon}
{referring to the 1st Advent of Christ with emphasis on the Cross},
and
a retribution/recompense {antapodoma} unto them
{referring to the Five cycles of discipline - the 5th taking
them out as a Client Nation to God until the Tribulation}. 10~~
Let
their eyes be darkened {negative volition},
for
the purpose that they may not see
{meaning they do not recognize the Omega Glory of Christ - Rev
1:8},
and
cause their backs to bend constantly
{referring to slavery of the mind that precedes destruction
of a client nation to God}."
11~~I
{Paul} say then,
"Did
they not stumble so as to fall?
No,
definitely not!
{Idiom: literally 'let it not become so'}
But
. . . {by means of}
their
defection/'falling away'/transgression/error {paraptoma}
{meaning their defection from their spiritual heritage through
apostasy},
'the
salvation message'/salvation/deliverance {soteria}
{belongs
to} . . . the Gentiles . . .
in
order that they {the Jews}
might
be 'stimulated to emulation/anger/rivalry' {parazeloo}."
12~~"Now
if their defection/'falling away'/
transgression/error
{paraptoma} . . .
{becomes}
the riches {ploutos} of the world/cosmos {kosmos}

and it is {1st class conditional if} -
and
if their failure {hettema} . . .
{became}
the riches of the Gentiles - and it did -
how
much more will be their fullness {pleroma}?"
{Note: Because a new principal developed called 'Manifest Destiny' . . . where true prosperity can be obtained. It is when you unite landed aristocrats, factory owners, and an open frontier. Then you can have prosperity if you obey the laws of establishment - capitalism - and also send out missionaries, it can last a long time. Rome set the record of about 200 years and the US will not match it until about 2104 (from circa 1904).}

if their rejection
{5th cycle to Israel in AD 70 and loss of Client Nation status}

become the reconciliation of the world

will be their acceptance

{batch refers to the believing Jews which is the true Israel}.

if the root
{referring to Isaiah 11:1: the root of Jesse -
the Lord Jesus Christ in His 1st Advent}

also
the branches {Jewish Royal Family of God}

{meaning through positional sanctification}.
{Note: The root refers to Jesus in His 1st Advent. Often the branch refers to Jesus in His 2nd Advent. But here in this simile it referring to believers in Him.}
