WE SEARCH FOR ONE THING OR ANOTHER ALL THE TIME. A BETTER JOB...A PERFECT SPOUSE...THE FASTEST CAR...A BEAUTIFUL HOUSE... CHILDREN THAT ARE TOPS IN ALL THEY DO...ANSWERS TO ALL THE UNKNOWN QUESTIONS. WE NEVER STOP! WE MAY BE UNAWARE OF OUR NEED TO FIND THE STORYBOOK LIFE WE ALL YEARN FOR AND ALL THE WHILE FAIL TO ENJOY THE AWESOME THINGS THAT SURROUND US. "STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES!" EVER HEARD THAT? EVER GET TIRED OF HEARING THAT? WELL, YOU MAY NEVER SLOW DOWN ENOUGH TO GET A GOOD WHIFF OF THE GARDEN BUT, AT LEAST ONCE A DAY YOU CAN FIND A FEW MINUTES TO ENJOY SOME PEACE. IT'S THERE, TRUST ME. OUR JOB IS TO RECOGNIZE IT.......WE REALLY DON'T HAVE TO SEARCH FOR IT......IT'S INSIDE US ALL THE TIME.

GIVE IT TO GOD

                 While traveling through the world below,
                 Troubles sometimes arise.
                 This is all part of God's wonderful plan
                 But, I think, sometimes HE cries.
 
                 God gives perfectly to his children,
                 Not one is ever forgotten.
                 He sees and hears and knows our lives
                 And comforts when we are down-trodden.

                 So give the control over to God
                 With faith and an accepting mind.
                 For though we think we are in control
                 God holds all in his hands...even time.
PLANTING YOUR SPRING GARDEN

  
  When you plant your garden this spring, may God richly bless you in your 
  sincere endeavor. Remember to:
   Plant three rows of squash:
       1. Squash gossip
       2. Squash criticism
       3. Squash indifference
   Plant seven rows of peas:
       1. Prayer
       2. Promptness
       3. Perseverance
       4. Politeness
       5. Preparedness
       6. Purity
       7. Patience
   Plant seven heads of lettuce:
       1. Let us be unselfish and loyal
       2. Let us be faithful to duty
       3. Let us search the scriptures
       4. Let us not be weary in well doing
       5. Let us be obedient in all things
       6. Let us be truthful
       7. Let us love one another
  No garden is complete without turnips:
       1. Turn up for church
       2. Turn up for meetings, in prayer, and Bible study
       3. Turn up with a smile, even when things are difficult
       4. Turn up with determination to do your best in God's service.
 
 After planting, May you Grow in Grace and in the knowledge of our 
 Lord and  Savior Jesus Christ (II Peter 3:18.) And may you reap rich
 results.
