POODLE WON!!!!
2 / 12/ 02 For those of you that don't know,
CH Surrey Spice Girl (this years best in show at westminister) is part of our
poodle family. Her mother is Randy's littermate. Her breeder, Barbara Furbush,
is a very good friend of mine. Barbara has had one of her poodles on the
top ten list for as long as I can remember and tonight she finally "won the
big one" How's that for poodle power!

Karolyn Harrison's Indy won best GSD puppy and best of breed at the Topeka Kennel Club match on Sunday, Feb. 20.
Rosalie Behnke with Tessa and Jake earned UKC agility I titles for both at the Agility Ability trials Feb. 19-20 in Kansas City. Tessa also took a first place during the weekend.
John Hortin and his golden retriever, Amber, were featured on the
front page of the Kansas State Collegian Feb. 21.
Karolyn Harrison and GSD Francine earned their first two AKC novice legs in their first attempts at the Greater Kansas City Dog Training Club trials March 25-26.
Barbara Fuller and her sheltie, Boomer, finished their AKC CD title in three straight shows by qualifying at the Greater Kansas City Dog Training Club trial March 25. They had earned their first two novice legs in their first two outings at the Garden City Kennel Club trials March 4-5.
Jeanne Saddler and Australian shepherd Sydney took first place in Utility B at the Topeka Kennel Club's trial April 23 and earned their first OTCH points.
Karolyn Harrison's GSD Indy won first place in her conformation class at the Manhattan Kansas Kennel Club trial April 22. Handler was Karolyn's daughter LaShawna.
LOTS OF MEMBERS earned legs at the Heartland agility trials May 20-21
Jeanne Saddler and Aussie Lucas earned first place in Novice JWW both Saturday and Sunday. In a different height category, Aussie Sydney placed second in Novice JWW on Saturday and first on Sunday. Lucas also earned a leg in Novice standard on Sunday.
John Hortin and Golden retriever Amber earned their first leg in Novice JWW with a first place on Saturday.
Jeanne Saddler and Aussie Sydney took a second and third place in Utility B at the Emporia trials May 13-14, and fourth place in OB on Sunday, earning his fourth UDX leg.
Barbara Fuller and sheltie Boomer finished his NA with a first place at the Star City trial in Lincoln on Nov. 26. All three legs were clean runs and he placed with a first and a second on the other two legs. He finished his NAJ at Garden City on Nov. 5th with a first place. He had a second and a third place on the other two legs.
