Facts on the Harry Potter books:
- The forth book book in the Harry Potter series,  Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, was originally planned to be named Harry Potter and the Doomspell Tournament.
- JK Rowling says she plans 7 books in the Harry Potter series - one for each of his years at Hogwarts. She says when she first had the idea for the books (on a train), she visualised 7 books.
- Harry Potter, the main character in all of the series books, is named after a friend of Joanne Rowling's called Ian Potter.
