Welcome to my Web site!My name is Richard Herdocia. I have worked for the past twelve years as a technical engineer, and photo-imaging service engineer. I gained much experience in electronics, electro-mechanics, photography, digital systems, software, networks and computer hardware. I have extensive training with Noritsu, Gretag, Kodak, and Agfa photo image mini-labs, both analog and digital. Further, I have five years experience as a drug store sales manager and store operations, (WALGREENS, 1989-1994). Also, I had the opportunity to work for the state of Florida motor vehicle emission testing program at Enviro-Test technologist ,(FMVIP,1994-1997). My last employer was Kodak Corporation,(1997-2005). I worked in Qualex/Kodak for eight years. Plus, I had the opportunity to teach as a part-time instructor at ATI-American Technical Institute. I am a dedicated professional and able to deliver service on time and with a high standard for quality. I am able to multitask, teamwork, and have excellent communication skills. Also, I can self retrain and learn new technology to deliver the best service possible for my employer and its customers. In information technology, I have a bachelor degree from Barry University, BSIT; and a specialization in software engineering, and web-design. I used the following programming languages and technology; C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, Access, FrontPage, Visio, Visual-Studio, project 2003, Borland-IDE, Dream-Weaver, and Microsoft office-suite. I am a CompTia A+ Certified Professional. In engineering technology, I received an AA degree from Miami Dade Community College in electronic engineer technology. In the near future I plan to continue my education and pursue a master degree and obtain more certifications. The technology field is constantly changing and the need for training in the new technologies is much greater and I enjoy learning new ideas. I am a resident of Miami Dade county in Florida. My career objectives are to continue working in the technology field either as a service engineer, or as a software developer. I will continue to learn, help and train people, and give excellent service to customers. I would like to work as part of a team and help the organization achieve its objectives by offering my skills, techniques, knowledge, customer service and experience to maintain a profitable business.
