Andre Nickatina - These R the Tales
Reviewed By: MoonChild

  1. A Classic cut minus a much needed hook. A lil ditty of some cock tails in respect of Too $hort The OG. The beat was fucken classic to my ears and some of the lyrics had me rollin’! 9/10.

  2. A re-do of the Classic "Crack Raider Razor" from "Raven in My Eyes". It sounds almost live and he added some new lyrics. I liked the OG much more. 6/10.

  3. An R & B like track. The singer that did the hook did a good job. I liked it! Beat, lyrics, on point. 8/10.

  4. A glimpse of his live concerts. Good marketing strategy! N/R.

  5. Whooo this beat's mesmerizing. The hook was fucken hard too. My only complaint was lack of deep lyrics for such a concept and beat. Still a classic! 9/10.

  6. He used the ice cream truck beat for this! Put a lil drum and bass with a violin and viola! An instrumental, amusing! 6/10.

  7. Another Fillmoe Colman Band song, but dre got the idea to talk throughout the whole song. Yes jabber like he’s drunk in a bar at 2:00 a.m. talkin’ to whoever! Kinda a waste for such a tight beat. 5/10.

  8. A great lyrical showcase from Nicky and LoLo. She actually came tight! This beat is fucken hard! Sounds like one of them lil Puppet Masters in the backround, Good idea! 8/10.

  9. Great beat (reggae) and lyrics are good, hook was tight. San Quinn appears on this but after the song is over and a new beat comes in. Tha second beat Quinn raps on ruins it, not into Quinn either. Still a great song overall. 9/10.

  10. A good instrumental, soundz kinda like the "Taxi" theme, but different! Real mellow. Blaze ta this one! 8/10.

  11. I liked it, it was short and sweet. One verse of his relationship with God! Hand delivered to the Devil! Wish it was longer. 7/10.

  12. This one is a mix of two different songs, the beat is from "Raven’s" track "Mother" (Filmoe Coleman) and the lyrics are from the "Daiquiri Factory’s" track "Fears of A Coke Lord" with a new hook. Supposed to sound live, but it’s a studio track. No biggie here. 6/10.

  13. I liked the beat and I liked the concept. Just wish he did a whole song with it! It’s a mix of scratching and Nicky doin’ a hook with a little movie sample in the mix. 6/10.

  14. Another coo’ remix of the OG. 7/10.

  15. Str8 classic Nickatina here. Beat, lyrics, its all there. I like the sword clang rhythm, it fit well. 9/10.

  16. E-Daddy’s solo for some reason is the closer?! It was aight, hella "Pop" though. Not my thing. 5/10.

Overall I give this album a 7/10. Kinda a gumbo of material, I like that he’s getting’ his money on now. Just hope he’s got at least one more full length classic in him! This one was decent, but nothing compared to "Raven" or "Passion."
