Andre Nickatin - Raven in My Eyes
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- This track has a slow paced beat with a hard bass line. A decent start to the
album. The lyrics range all over the place as most of Andre Nickatina's songs do.
A good track to start the album.
- A very good track here. A good beat and bass line to it. The background sounds
are great and it has one of the most addictive hooks of all time. One of the best
tracks on the album. A good cruising beat. Get behind the wheel and let this one
bump.
- A slow beat here. The lyrics center around early morning activities, whippin'
donuts, smoking at the club and more. A decent track, the only problem is that
the bass line gets repeated too much, too fast.
- Skit.
- Another slow beat here. Not a very good track if you ask me. Lolo is on this
track, but I don't really like here much. She has some good flows, but her voice
isn't that good.
- Nickatina represents his sign on this track. A nice slow beat that fits the track
well. The instraments in the background are bells that add to the track. An ok
track overall.
- My favorite on the album. The beat is great. A medium paced beat that begs to be
cruised to. The piano in the background is good too. The lyrics are fast paced
and have a wide range. Best track on the album.
- A good fast paced beat here. It makes you want to dance. The bass is good,
background instraments are great and the lyrics are great as usual from Nickatina.
The hook is weak, but it doesn't bring the track down. Great overall.
- A instrumental. A hard bass line, but nothing much else to it. Some limited
drums, that's it.
- The song is about the year Nickatina started in the rap game. The lyrics are ok,
but the beat is nothing to brag about. Kind of a weak track.
- A fast paced beat here. The background affects aren't very good and the instruments
are nothing special. The hook is a little annoying too. Not a very good track.
- A good hard base line here. The lyrics fit very good with this track. This track is
mostly lyric orientated. A decent track all around.
- A nice guitar in the background of this track. Another good slow beat. Andre
Nickatina only flows on the hook, but it's good. The track is sung by Lolo. She
does a good job.
- A fast paced beat. Some interesting instumentals in the background. Not a very
good track though.
- A nice little instramental track here. Lots of guitar and bass. Not his best
instramental track, but still good.
- A nice medium paced song. It's got good background instraments and good flows.
A good track.
- Some nice guitar work on this track. A slow pace, that has good background
instumentals. The track sounds like a freestyle that was mixed in with the
instruments. Still sounds coo though.
- More guitars here. Better lyrics than the previous track, but the beat isn't
as good. A decent track to end the album.
Overall this album is very good. One of Nickatina's best even with his Dre Dog
albums. Good beats and interesting lyrics are Nickatina's specialty. A must have
for all rap listeners.
