B-Legit - Hard to B-Legit
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- Ric Roc lays down a tight ass beat to get the album started off. B-Legit comes with the
fist verse and spits some coo lyrics, although it seems like he's trying to give more of
a mainstream feel to his music than his previous albums. Decent verses from Harm and
Ric Roc, but it still seems more like a bling, bling type of track that doesn't fit in
with B-Legit. A good track overall though.
- One of the only two solo tracks. A clean beat from Scott Gordy that gets your head
moving. B-Legit comes with some tight lyrics on the mic. I like the hook a lot and
everything fits together well. One of my favorite tracks on the album, I'm feeling it to
the fullest.
- A pretty good beat from Ric Roc. Some coo flows from B-Legit. Harm has background vocals
on the hook, but I'm not really feeling the hook very much. Again this seems like an
attempt at a mainstream track. It's a coo track overall, but it needed a better hook to
it.
- I'm loving this beat from Ric Roc. It knoccs so hard! B-Legit rips up the mic on this
track and the beat gets your head moving. I can't really say much more about this track,
just bump it loud!
- A pretty good beat from E-A-Ski, but it's nothing special. Some decent lyrics from
B-Legit, but sounds like any other B-Legit track. I usually skip this track.
- A track that sounds like it belongs on a B-Legit album. He talks about that Hemp and
getting high. NY Brown handles the production and lays down a good beat. I don't know
who the other person is on this track, but he needs to go. Needed to be a totally solo
track. Wish it would have been left a solo, would have been perfect.
- A pretty good beat from Yountie, but he needs to go on the mic. B-Legit comes with some
coo flows, but Yountie ruins this track as far as flow wise. I'm not feeling the hook at
all. Might have been better as a solo track.
- My second favorite track on the album. The beat from Ric Roc knoccs hard. Both B-Legit
and Too $hort come with some clean flows on the mic. I like the soft female background
vocals on the hook. Two typical flows from both, but a tight ass beat helps make this
track one of the best on the album.
- A decent beat from Bosko, but I've heard him come with a lot better beats than this one.
I was never a fan of Suga Free and this track doesn't do anything to change my mind. I
don't like the background vocals by Pryncezz either. Not feeling this track at all, I
always skip it.
- A clean ass beat by Big Game Jaymes. The track has a really good pace to it. B-Legit
comes with some coo lyrics on the mic. Ray J has some coo vocals on the hook. An overall
good track, I liked it a lot better than the previous track.
- Oh boy!! This track knoccs so hard and is so fucking tight! Ric Roc lays down a tight
ass beat that gets your head moving. B-Legit starts it off with a tight ass verse, E-40
handles the hook and comes with two tight ass verses. The best track on the album by
far, just bump it loud!
- A coo beat by J' Rilla. Harm and J' Rilla are on the hook with background vocals. B-Legit
comes with some clean lyrics on the mic. Hard to follow up a track last the previous,
but it's a coo track overall.
- Kreep handles the production for this track. A decent beat overall, but nothing special.
Harm has the first verse, but I'm not really feeling it too much. B-Legit comes with a
much better verse next. A coo track overall, but nothing special.
- Studio Ton lays down a tight ass beat to finish the album off with. B-Legit comes with
some clean flows on the mic. Deon and Levitti come with some nice vocals on the hook. A
tight ass track to finish the album with, I'm feeling it.
Overall this was a pretty good album, although I don't think it was nearly as good as
his previous albums. There is a definate mainstream feel to this album. I compare it a
lot to E-40's new album. The beats are very good and there are some good features, but
I think there needed to be more solo tracks. A decent album overall, but nothing that
really stands out.
