B-Legit - Hempin' Ain't Easy
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- The intro. A press conference where people ask B-Legit what hemp is.
- The first real track has heat to it. The hook is great and B-Legit flows about
smoking. The beat is tight and gets your head into it. The production is pretty
good overall and B-Legit spits some tight lyrics. A good track overall.
- The production is alright, but the beat doesn't come off hard to me. B-Legit
comes pretty hard on the mic though and he spits some coo lyrics. The hook is
coo and Lil' Bruce comes alright. It's a decent track overall.
- The beat is tight and B-Legit flows clean on this one. The production sounds
just like a Click album and he flows like he was back in the Click. The beat
gets your head into it and I like the hook. B-Legit comes clean on this one.
I'm feeling it overall.
- Levitti comes with that singing style that he has and B-Legit comes with some
coo lyrics. The beat comes off clean, but it's not that hard. The hook isn't
that great, but the track as a whole is coo. Nothing special, but still good.
- Snoop Dogg makes an appearance on this one. B-Legit has the first verse and
spits some alright lyrics. Snoop Dogg has the next verse and spits some coo
lyrics, but never really flows about the game or gettin high. I would have
thought two cats who have a repuatation for gettin' high would have had a
better track together, but both didn't come hard on this one.
- The beat is tight as fuck and gets your head moving while some tight lyrics
are spit. B-Legit starts it off with short, but clean verse, E-40 comes next
with another short verse. All the verses are a bit short, but I'm still feeling
them. The hook is alright, but it's the beat and flows that are the best part
of this track. I'm feeling it overall, it's tight.
- The production on this track is clean and the flows are coo. The hook is coo,
and I'm feeling everything on this track. B-Legit has a decent flow. Everything
seems to fit together perfectly on this one. I'm feeling it. Some old school
type of shit on this one. A tight track overall.
- Kokane and B-Legit rip up the mic on this track. The hook is alright and I'm feeling
the production. The beat is decent, but nothing special. Not the best track on the
album, but it's got a decent flow to it. I'm feeling it.
- This solo track is tight as fuck! B-Legit comes with some tight ass lyrics and I'm
feeling his flow. The beat is sweet and gets your head into the track. B-Legit flows
about being a hard headed nigga. This track knoccs hard. I'm feeling it to the
fullest.
- The background effects on this track get you head moving. B-Legit starts it off with a
tight verse. Mac Shawn comes with some tight flows of his own. I'm feeling this track.
Just some old school type shit on this one. I'm feeling it.
- The beat is tight and B-Legit starts off the track with a tight ass verse. I don't
really the flow that Kurupt spits on this one. Mack 10 does come tight on this one
though. This would have been a lot better if it would have been just Legit and 10.
Kurupt has some nice vocals on the hook, but besides that he should have been left off
this track.
- One of my favorite tracks and certainly the best solo track on the album. The beat is
tight and fits B-Legit's style perfectly. The beat gets your head moving and I'm feeling
the production. The computer effects on the hook are clean. This is just a tight track
in every way.
- This track has an old school feel to it. The beat sounds old school and B-Legit and Harm
come some old school type of lyrics. They flow about touching girls in that specail
section. It's a clean track. I'm feeling it.
- No better rapper to talk about some gold ones than Richie Rich. B-Legit and Rich rip up
the mic on this one. Both come with some kick ass lyrics and the beat fits well. The
beat doesn't really get your head moving, but I do like it and the production fits in
well. I'm feeling this track from a couple classic Bay cats.
- I'm not really feeling the production on this track. E-40 comes tight on this one, but
B-Legit and The Mossie don't come nearly as hard. The beat isn't all that either. I'm
not really feeling this track at all.
- Levitti is a perfect fit for this track. He comes with those sweet vocals on the hook
while B-Legit comes with some tight lyrics. The beat is sweet and fits perfectly. The
background effects are good. I'm feeling this track overall.
- This is a decent track, but I'm not really feeling all the people that are on it. Legit
stands out above all of them. The beat is coo and I'm feeling the production. A good
track to end the album with minus the fact there are too many people on it.
Overall this album is tight. It is nearly as good as "The Hemp Museum." There are a lot
of good people featured on this album. B-Legit comes with good lyrics throughout the
album and the beats and production is top notch. I'm feeling this album. Get yourself a
copy.
