First Degree The D.E. - Damn That D.E.
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- Intro. Has a nice beat to it, nothing more.
- A sicc ass beat and some tight ass flows. A reacurring theme on this album. The title
track has great production and flows about First Degree.
- A nice slow-medium paced beat with some good background affects. Both First Degree and
Brotha Lynch come sicc on this track. Both have very distinctive voices and great
flows. Both show it here.
- My favorite track on the album. The beat and affects are just plain SICC!!!! This track
proves that First Degree can both produce and flow to the fullest. The lyrics go from
riding around Sac to his music.
- More good production. The lyrics center around murda, murda, and more murda. Some sicc
words are spit on this track. Good one to listen closely to.
- Intrumental. It has a good beat and some great guitar work in the background. Nice
little insturmental track.
- I love the hook to this track. More good guitar work here. Everything fits together
nicely, and they all work together to create a good track. Everything is good, the
flow, hook, beat, affects, lyrics and instruments.
- A good medium paced beat goes well with First Degree flow about jail, murda and
everything in between.
- A track that gets your head moving. The lyrics are all about war on different levels.
The beat has a medium pace and the background affects are good.
- This is really the only track that I'm not really into. The beat is ok and the affects
are good, but I'm still not into it.
- Skit.
- A slow beat has a nice flow to it on this track. The lyrics take a long time to start,
but are pretty good. The track is too short though. Not one of my favs. Mostly and
instrumental.
- This track is all about being and outlaw. First Degree flows about being on the police
wanted list and what to do. Good beat and more good guitar work.
- The most guest appearances on the album appear here. All four rappers have good
verses. The beat is good and the affects are great. A good track overall.
- This track is all about being a statistic so to speak. Jail, poverty, murder are all
talked about here. A lot of heart on this track about talent and potential wasted.
- The hidden track starts with the same beat as in "There That Man." It only has
insturments, and First Degree only talks a bit over them. That's it.
Overall this album is just plain SICC!!! It has great production and lyrics to go with
it. First Degree is a tight ass artist and he's shown it on this album. It's quickly
becoming one of my favorite albums already.
