X-Raided Presents - The Initiation
Reviewed By: YunG VenoM
- X-Loc has now strayed from his former label, "Black Market Records" and created "The
Initiation" a compilation put out by his own label "Madman Records." Luni Coleone come
hard with some of that GBC shit. T-Nutty is the one person who definetly shines with
X-Raided on this whole CD. No love has a annoying voice, but it doesn't make or break
the track. 5/5
- Nothin' less from X-Loc than pure savagery! Gangsta 190 sounds a lil' too plain for
me. T-Nutty once again comes heated. Most beats on this CD were made by Big Hollis, who
definetly got skills. Probably the best beats in the Sacramento rap scene. 3/5
- My favorite track on the whole Cd. This shit is off the hook!!! Big Hollis comes with
a speaker rattlin' knock! This is a Raided solo track, Kingpin is on the ad-libs.
6/5
- Kingpin finally gets a chance to rip a full verse. He impressed me. X-Raided comes
sicc "I monsta mash/how many of you niggas would dump for cash." T-Nutty sounds good
with X-Raided, I think he is the tightest artist on Madman besides Raided.4/5
- Chill Bola comes ok on this track. He once was coo with X-Raided, but now they're is a
major beef between them. The beat has an erie feelin', but I'm diggin' the fuck out of
it. X-Raided is on the hook. I'm not feelin' No Love at all, the only letdown on the
track. 4/5
- Big Hollis has skills on beats, but not on flows. He is garbage in my opinion. Fane
doesn't help the track. 1/5
- The beat was pretty coo on this track. X-Raided shines over Kinpin and No Love. 3/5
- Teddy Bear is a female rapper. She is nothin' special in my opinion. Nothin' next to
Marvaless. T-Nutty does come tight on this track though. Overall, I wasn't feelin'
this track because of Teddy Bear. 3/5
- This beat is some of that slow West Coast gangsta shit. Raided, Nutty, KB have a laid
back flow that goes real good with the beat. Hollis has really opened my eyes to his
production, peep the Sac Kingz Comp. for more of his work. 3/5
- The second best cut on the album. Raided has some amazing lyrics. "Eat the cartridge,
three slugs discharge eat the target/delete the cartridge in ya knee, caps for comin'
at me with weak raps." Nutty comes heated on this song fa sho, I'm feelin' him to the
fullest. No Love is this track, Madman needs to drop this cat, but his verse doesn't
ruin the song. 5/5
- Teddy Bear is on the track with her R&B voice. She is a little better here though.
Nutty talks about his favorite activities: smokin' and drinkin'. Dre D comes with
venom on this track. 2/5
- I ain't really feelin' this Hollis beat. It's a different sound than the rest of the
album. Raided and Kinpin come coo, wasn't to impressed with the track though. 2/5
- T-Nutty's solo track. He really shows his skills. Beat is catchy and Nutty rips all
over. 5/5
- This track is sicc. What else would you expcet from Madman? 4/5
- The second and last solo by Raided. Man when you hear Raided by himself you really
realize his rap talent. 4/5
Overall this CD is a definent purchase. Raided has some of the best lyrics in the rap
game period. He's come tight on every CD I have bought, including this one. Overall a
4/5
