THE MUSIC I LIKE!!!! (part 2)
The band in the picture to your right is the band that had, quite possibly the best decade in the 70s, when you look at all the albums they made in that period of time... Meddle... The Dark Side Of The Moon... Wish You Were Here... Animals... The Wall... I can only be talking about one band. And that one band is Pink Floyd. If you want to hear some INCREDIBLY good music, listen to The Wall the whole way through. In my own opinion, it's one of the greatest albums ever made... But that's my own opinion.
Hailed as "the most rock 'n' roll rock 'n' roll band in the world," The Black Crowes seem to have one hell of a time doing what they do best... Put out GREAT music. For a great all around album, I'd recommend their latest studio effort, By Your Side. Or if you just want all the "hits," pick up Greatest Hits - 1990 to 1999: A Tribute To A Work In Progress. You shouldn't be disappointed... Really... You shouldn't.
YEEEE HAW!!! GREEN DAY IS HERE!!!!! The punk-ish trio from Oakwood, California have been kicking it up for about 11 years, starting with a few indie EPs and such and finally hit the big time with their 1994 album, Dookie. Their most recent effort, Warning, is a FANTASTIC mix of acoustic and electric guitars and the ASTOUNDING rhythmn section of Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool is sounding as good as ever. Of course, it's all  topped off by the guitar work and unmistakable voice of  Billy Joe Armstrong. Check 'em out if you haven't already done so.
SEEN 'EM!
Okay, I think this guy is gonna be the next Zappa. The man's name is Beck Hansen, otherwise known as just "Beck." With such songs like "Loser," "Where It's At," "The New Pollution," Cold Brains," "Sexx Laws," "Hollywood Freaks," and "Debra," this guy has covered so much in terms of style, it's amazing. I think very highly of Beck's level of creativity. If he can find a rhyme, he uses it and it usually works. There's a reason I once had an e-mail address called "beckisagenius@yahoo.com." It's because he is.
This goes back to tha homepage, sucka!!!

Ahhhh... The fathers of punk... The Ramones basically created punk rock as we know it today. Inspiring The Sex Pistols and The Clash, and in turn every punk band known today... And the band produced one of the least likely rock stars... Joey Ramone, born Jeffrey Hyman. Unfortunately, Joey was taken from us on April 15th, 2001 at the age of 49. He will be forever missed in the hearts of punk fans everywhere. And if not, he SHOULD!
I must say that these guys are THE MOST immature live band I have EVER seen. Blink-182 rocked the house BOTH nights I saw them! Some say "They ain't real punk," but I don't give a shit. The material is GREAT and FUN. That's all that should matter, folks. If you like the stuff. They are EXTREMELY fun to watch live, and I suggest you go see them if you get the chance. With guest appearances by Satan and Larry, their guitar technician (who even has his own shirt in the Blink-182 merchandise booths), it's quite the show. Much immaturity is about at the show, so if you can get into that, GO!!!!!! I recommend that you pick up their new album, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket, and their live album, The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show (The Enema Strikes Back). If you like Green Day, MXPX, and just fun punk stuff, GET SOME BLINK STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SEEN 'EM!
