The goal of Habitat for Humanity of Southwestern North Dakota is not only to build homes,
but to build our community.  We could not accomplish this without the support and
generosity of the people and businesses in Dickinson and the surrounding areas.  We'd
like to thank the following businesses and organizations for their continued support:
The Stark County ND Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
donated $500.00 to Habitat for Humanity.
The True Value
in Glendive, MT donated paint and stain for Habitat for Humanity to use on this and future homes.
Consolidated
donated the booth to Habitat for Humanity at this years Women's Expo.
Clear Channel Radio
donated the booth to Habitat for Humanity at this years Business Expo.
The Village Gift Shop
donated four Dept 56 Habitat for Humanity Houses.
Two of these houses will be used as raffle prizes for our Build Your Own Taco Supper being
held at the Elk's Club on October 15th, 2003.
To American State Bank & Trust
for another successful Golf Tournament.
Thank you for all the hard work and commitment you put into this tournament.
Thank you to all the sponsors for donating prizes and sponsoring holes for this event.
Your continued support to Habitat for Humanity is greatly appreciated.
Kadrmas, Lee and Jackson has once again sponsored the
Habitat booth at the Home Builders Show, which was held this past April.  Your continued
support is greatly appreciated.
Badlands Board of Realtors chose Habitat for Humanity
of Southwestern North Dakota to receive the proceeds from the Spring Fling Basket Auction,
which was held in April.  These people know what home ownership means to our community.
 Thank you for your support!
The KC Council hosted a benefit breakfast at
St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Sunday, May 4.  All proceeds will be donated to the
Dickinson Habitat affiliate.  The breakfast allowed us to visit with parishioners about
Habitat.  Many people didn't realize construction of the second house is set to begin
this summer.  Thank you to everyone who attended the breakfast or volunteered their
time to help.
We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to each of the 95
dedicated volunteers who put in more than 1,300 hours of work into the
completion of our first Habitat for Humanity house and extend a special "thank you" to
the First Congregational Church/United Church of Christ for
generously granting HFHSWND the use of its basement meeting area and kitchen to serve the lunches
for our first house, Delane Woehl for the extended use of storage
space on Radar Base Road, Lyle Dassinger and
Wes Schurhke for donating the basement and excavating work,
Joe Rothschiller,
Steffes Corporation for the generous donation of
a quality product, Paul Bosch,
Bosch Lumber for all his helpful advice and instruction,

Inspector for helping us avoid some common pitfalls, Scot Schara,
Al Wieman, and
Erv Van Veldhuizen, some of the members of our very own Construction Committee who
put in innumerable hours on committee work and actual construction,
