The Battlestar Galactica
The Galactica, pride of the fleet and last of the Battlestars......well, at least until 'The Living Legend' where the Pegasus makes a comeback.
I started off with a very basic model that I found years back in my Imagine days, stripped the whole thing down, then proceeded to detail it from the Revell model (re-release of the old Monogram kit). While unable to reproduce the 'kit bashed' detailing of the original, I am pleased with the final results.

The Colonial Viper
The Colonial Viper, scourge of the Cylons and also of those who saw it as a simple X-Wing rip-off. I actually like it, and don't support the previous plagiarism theory. Again, the Revell re-release kit served as the basis for the model. It's not quite as dirtied down as the studio model - I might try to produce a more heavily weathered set of textures at a later point.

The Cylon Basestar
Hmmmmmm, menacing saucer type things in space, cue bad guy music. It may have been the simplest of the plastic kits, but its a pain for surface detailing - still at least you only have to produce one of its sides, there's something to be said for alien symmetry. It still needs some lights but on the whole I am pleased with it.

The Cylon Raider
Still a very nice bad guys ship, even after twenty years. It lacks a bit of detailing on the wing inserts but is quite useable otherwise.
I know that the wing insignia are transposed, I was using a set of blueprints from 'Famous Spacecraft of Fact and Fiction' - a late 70's Fine Scale Modeller special which showed the insignia as I've made them. Apparently this arrangement was on the pre-production versions but was switched for the on screen versions - I will fix it up.

The Galactica Shuttle
The venerable Galactica workhorse, as assembled from a variety of screenshots, and some 'behind the scenes' photographs from the Apogee workshop. Consider this something of a beta mesh, I have had to guestimate some of the detail to fill in the gaps of my reference material. But the final result seems to match the screenshots that I have.
