We're off to Africa!

Mitch sports a bit of shadow as we head to a world of islamists. We all make nervous jokes as we observe the double line of cars full of potential terrorists waiting to enter the relaxed Spanish borders. Beyond, our highspeed ferry that crossed the gap in a half hour.

Tangier is a strange carnival put on for the tourists. Our money is highly valued, as these men entertain us for change. Yes, that's a live cobra he's holding. In the background, the Casbah.

Our tour was a bit of a disappointment as the guides hurried us past the shops to private venders where they receive kickbacks for overpriced goods. We observe the narrow streets, interesting stores and the strange people of the Tangier medina along the way.

A man prepares an egg and potato "omelette" of sorts. Behind, a Berber woman markets her produce.
