Funeral services for the late Mrs. Mary U. Gaude, 70, of 143 Searles Avenue, were held this afternoon at 2:30 from the Slaughter & Beardsley funeral home. The Rev. G. E. McDonald of the United Brethren Church, officiated. Mrs. C. Campbell and Mrs. G. E. McDonald sang a duet, "Old Rugged Cross" and "Jesus Loves my Soul," accompanied by Warren Colby at the organ. Casket bearers were nephews of the deceased Elwood Hill, Vernon Hill, George Hill, Dean Hill, Harold Hill, and John Hill. Burial was in the Penn Yan Cemetery, Pipestone twp.
