Hip hop is one of the most popular genres of music today. Hip hop was born in the late 70s, early 80s in the streets of the Bronx. Hip hop also gave birth to graffiti and breakdancing. Many people who thought it was just a fad, felt that graffiti was just polluting the city's subway cars and building sides but it is a form of art that goes hand in hand with hip hop. And breakdancing was a form of performance art that went with it.
