Here's a pic of me holdning my sitar.
I've named her "Moonstar"! Pretty
groovy name, huh? :-)

THE COPS TEND to give us a hard time because of our desire to like peacefully tell people what is what, but we always just let our positive energies prevail over theirs with some vedic-buddhist trance-meditational Mongolian humming choruses until they give up and walk away. Score one for all hippies worldwide! DON'T LET THE MAN GET YOU DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a pic of me practicing on my sitar.
Not an expert yet, but definetely starting
to get the hang of it!

WE LOVE GIVING charity concerts as well! Actually, we perform all our concerts free of charge, in keeping with our neo-buddhist-synergy-vedic principles of sharing and doing good deeds! The biggest gig we've performed at as of yet was Hippie-for-world-peace, back in 2002. We went on stage and let loose with over three hours of "We shall overcome" with added native-American influenced electronic trance music in the background. You should have seen those people dance! YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THEM!!!

AH, THE MUSIC!!!
There's nothing I like better than settling down in a nearby park with my sitar and really dig into the whole vibe of being one with Mother Nature and her son through the groovy tunes of my improvised pranic-energy-healing-attuning-anti capitalist-peace songs! Sometimes, my friends like to join in as well.

Hippie concert at the local park!! From right to left: me, Johnny, Roger, Junebug, Freddy, Moonbeam and Marcelle. Can you feel the love in the air, guys? Our positive energies will beat the negative ones!

I HAVEN'T REALLY begun to master my instrument yet. Once, when I tried to play "We shall overcome", I accidentally played the theme from "Matlock". Ha ha, what a mistake that was! :-) Luckily, I learned the song properly later! I would have been so embarrased and self concious otherwise and would have had to watch Operah all day to really cry it out!

Hippie-for-world-peace concert, december 2002. There's a lot of hippie in this picture, so it's kinda hard to see, but my friend Roger is seated in the front row on the far left.
(He's the one with the harmonica.)
