TOP STORY: Peace Accords Between Mali and Adriatics Finalized!
Bosporus - In a very surprising turn of events, Mali and Adriatic officials were able to come to an agreement on the war in the Americas; "I was a bit apprehensive about the meeting initially" admitted Regent Paolo Sarielle "However after finally sitting down with the Mali we realized neither of us had much of a reason to fight eachother, and peace was achieved soon thereafter." The war consisted of a threat initially made by the Mali which turned into a war of words between a Mali governor and an Adriatic General who was dispatched to the mouth of the Barri River. The words soon turned into action as an Adriatic warship mistakenly assumed war was officialized and attacked a Mali warship, the naval battle of Santiago ensued with an Adriatic victory. Soon thereafter peace talks began. "We realized that despite the good intentions of our men, it was quite a sneak attack to the Mali, who had not yet officially declared or begun a state of war" said King Ferdinand "We empathise for the lives of those lost in the battle of Santiago, and hope that their deaths can serve as a grimm reminder of what could occur due to miscommunication." Land accords, naval accords as well as the replacement of the ship lost in the battle have been agreed upon and carried out by both sides.

Europa Movement Signs Declaration of Independence!
Vienna - The latest attack in the Europa Movement's attempt at establishing a Republican government have not occured in a city, hamlet or battlefield, but on paper. The Declaration of Independence signed by such surprising officials as Giuseppe Garibaldi and some not so surprising individuals such as Napoleon Bonaparte has recieved no statement in response from the Royal Government or the House of Regents. All Regents who signed the document including William of Orange (Netherlands) were removed from their position in the House of Regents and their property confiscated by a Royal Decree. Orange said of the events "It is quite sad that the Royalists don't realize that times are changing, the Republics of the world were a sign that this day would eventually come, it is a shame that the Monarch can not step down peacefully, a war will ensue, this I can assure everyone." At this time Royal troops have mobilized into France and Russia, known Republican havens.

Ireland, Scotland, and Sweden Given Provincial Status.
Dublin - The territories of Ireland, Scotland, and Sweden have been annexed into the League and will recieve Regency after a period of five years. The new territories were established during and after the Mali-Adriatic War and have been quite cooperative especially due to the wave of Repulicanism hitting frontier towns and villages. At this time no names are available as to who will preside in the House of Regents.

Ferdinand Names Charles V as Successor!
Venice - King Ferdinand of Habsburg has named Charles V of Habsburg the successor to the Adriatic Throne following his abdication. "I feel that my nephew Charles will make a fitting King, and will serve his people, his country and his faith with the utmost of respect and to the best of his abilities" said King Ferdinand. This comes as quite a shock to most, who thought Cosimo D'Medici, brother of Vittoria D'Medici (Ferdinand's Wife) would be the next king.

FAWT, NALA Signed in Timbuktu!
Timbuktu - the Free Atlantic Waters Treaty (FAWT) and the North American Land Accords (NALA) were signed in Timbuktu following Adriatic-Mali peace talks. FAWT created rules for navigation and use of the Mediterranean Sea while NALA concerned Mali and Adriatic Territory in the Americas and set up guidelines towards that end. At this point in time the King has announced he will supply each nation in the world with the revised copies of both NALA and FAWT as they become available. Israel, the Adriatic League and the Mali Nation-State were the signors of these treaties.

Adriatic Soldiers Encroach on Mongolian Territory!
Karakorum - Following the interception of a Chinese message sent to an un-named source Adriatic forces encroached upon Mongolian territory looking for answers. "The Chinese message, which indicated another nation's attempt to settle upon Adriatic Territory, was intercepted and read in a House of Regents meeting, numerous attempts were made towards the Chinese to discover who in fact was planning on settling in Adriatic land" said General Antonin Pizzano "Their government, however, refused to cooperate or even entertain our inquiries, so we were forced to act on our own." King Ferdinand quickly made a noteably agitated and hasty speech to the House of Regents and to the entire world saying that any foreigner found on Adriatic soil without prior or prompt explaination of his prescecnce will be mercilessly slaughtered until the identity of this nation is discovered. This incident comes just days after Mongol and Chinese military build up in North America was discovered by scouting reports.

Ferdinand to China: Time Up!
Santiago - An official release to all colonial capitals rescinded earlier agreements to honor Chinese land claims in North America. "The latest maps show no expansion to initial Chinese presence in the New World, further the latest maps indicate Mongol expansion into areas designated to be for Chinese expansion" said Foreign Minister Cosimo D'Medici "This is a violation of our trust, we made a sacrifice and hampered our own potential expansion for what we thought was a fair Chinese grant, however the Pacific Pact has shown that this was not the case, and it is apparent that this territory is designated for the entire alliance, which I feel is unfair." The release has been sent to all nations and the King has expressed wishes to entertain a Congress of nations on this matter if anyone has issue here. Officially however the Adriatic League no longer honors Chinese rights to land in North America.

To all of those living under the realm and namesake of the United Adriatic Kingdoms, this is a Royal Decree of his majesty Ferdinand the Second of the House of Habsburg and is to be iron law in all provinces, territories and colonies of the United Adriatic Kingdoms; it has come to the attention of the King and his House of Regents that the band of rebels known as the Europa Movement has decided upon itself to represent the wishes of the subjects of the King. The following edicts shall be made, the first is that to he who discovers the locale and informs the minister of the militia in his respective township of any officer in the Europa Movement shall recieve a bounty of 10 Gold. Anyone who houses, feeds, supplies, or holds audience or does business with any member of the Europa movement shall be imprisoned for a term to be deemed fit by a local magistrate of no less than five calendar years. Any known member of the Europa Movement shall be subjected to death. It is in the interest of his Catholic Majesty Ferdinand to know the whereabouts and exploits of the Europa Movement, they are a detriment to the peace of this great Kingdom and a detriment to the Roman Catholic faith. He who supports the Europa Movement supports Satanism, Hedonism as well as Anarchy and Chaos and are very much an agent of Stan himself, and deserve the most horrific punishment imagineable.
