625 B.C.
In the centuries that followed, Paul concentrated on building up his towns to become cities. With little space for more cities the Aussies set about irrigating the lands and making babies...
Without the tech of Map Making the Aussies only added one new city, that of Perth.
Every effort was made to concentrate on scientific research and around 900BC the concept of creating a Republic dawned on Paul Keating, not for the last time:) [Aussie joke!]
By 725BC Paul despatched his crown and donned the garment of the toga! He looked most distinguished and the people loved him so much that they dreamt about their great leader and their great nation every night - so much so that the population expanded astronomically...
But, the secret of Map Making still eluded our scientists. The Aussies wanted to sail the high seas but when presented with further research the path of Philosophy was taken and in a northern city called Weipa it was discovered first in the world (which would have to be the most unlikely scenario one could imagine!)
Oil was tapped near Broken Hill and mines setup in readiness to build the Lighthouse Wonder as soon as Map Making arrived but alas we heard on the wind that a mighty empire of Zulus had built this Wonder.
Finally, the Aussies were able to build tri-remes and set forth on voyages of discovery and colonisation. One new city called Bali was established.
