Watched House of Flying Daggers. It's very good. I think it's directed by the same person that did Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The style was more the same- but HoFD wasn't as fake and all the motions were insanely beautiful. Unlike CTHD, it had a very good plot (not to mention plot holes,) but they share the same plot twists and indefinite endings -_-;; It was very, very good. You should go watch it.

I'm in the library right now...in school. Yeah. The academic counselor person gave me a note to skip out on Honor's Pre-cal and kick it in the library since it's the middle of my schedule change. Btw, Miyazaki, you never put Jade/Sarah phrases in "quotes." Bad. Very bad. You're just degrading yourself further.

Maryanne's pretty awesome. Not the Maryanne in rosemaryanne, who has the best lj on the face of the .... .. ...... .nose. I like how they have frau in their interests. Hahahaha. I can't stop laughing. Really. I can't. For example: "last week the japaneese built a nuclear bomb and took it over to lake lochness to blow old nessy out of the water. the scottish government gathered all of the lands wizards to put a protective spell on lake lochness." You can tell I'm bored.

Moved my computer to the living room. At least I have more space in my bedroom. Right. Anyhow, I have a wireless connection thing now. I hate it. It gives me lag in RO.

Yeah, I'm done.

Iron Chef

Gravitation is an anime show. If you don't know what it is, I suggest you go look it up on the wired. Hehehe.

Ummm...kicking it with grandpa and uncle. Being awesome. Duh. I really want to be a taster in tonight's Iron Chef because it's strawberry desserts.

OMG! Unky brought more asian horror movies for me to watch. Jade is scared. I'm gonna need to cling on to one of you while I watch them.

...it's RO time.

I miss you all T.T

I like Milkshake...and the Fry Bucket. Haha, I bet I'm driving you insane, Sars. MINAKO MINAKO!

School today was good, probably because we got out early. It was a very easy day. I didn't have to take the Honor's Pre-Calc test because 1) I was totally unprepared for it and 2) I'm not going to be in that class anymore. So wahoo! I get to take it on Monday. I just sat outside the classroom and did, well, nothing. I reread one of my WoE faqs and studied my (future) priest skill build while listening to music. Mooka joined me and she did homework.

Check out the picture Sarah drew of us. If you don't know already, it's from the game Ragnarok. Sars has green hair and is dead. I am with the santa hat and throwing up because, apparently, Lex Aeterna makes me throw up. There is also a poring. Yeah. Good job, Sarah. I'm totally submitting this to the fanart board. Bwahahahaha.

My internet is down. According to Ben, my box is whack. So, I'm just going to keep blogging until it works.

Oh shyeah. Sarah, Helen, Miyazaki and I went out to the Macaroni Grill again to get dessert. We ate two strawberry cheesecakes between us. But then we just kept on talking for another hour, and I got hungry. So we ordered lunch/dinner and talked more. Bwahahaha.

Before that, we visited Colin and gave him his card. He came out with these wide eyes and was like "What the--?" Hehehe. Then he politely dismissed us after hiding in the backroom for awhile.

Relatives came by later. We talked and sang karaoke. The kids tried to tickle me, but found out I wasn't ticklish. I later revealed to them my ticklish spot, but their fingers are so light that I couldn't really feel it -_-;; Then I went upstairs to pack for tommorow (going to grandpa's hizouse.) And then they left. My kuya Ben cracks me up. I didn't know he had a baby until today. >< His name is Preston, and I poked fun at him, telling that Preston was the name of one of my ex's (which it is.) He was like 0_x He's so whipped by his wife, it's kinda funny. He tried to scare Bennifer over the phone, but I'm pretty sure it didn't work.

I guess Miyazaki doesn't like this layout, so I'll change it soon. Never fear! Sarah helped me make one that she is only partly satisfied with. Yes, it's an SD RO layout pic, so I'll still be getting my Ragnarok loving. Speaking of layouts, Ben is making his websites. He uses Dreamweaver...loser. Haha.

I locked the cat in the room with me because she keeps on getting in my father's way while he tries to pack. Now she's meowing at me.

My love of latino music has been resurrected, and I blame it on Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Anyhow, this band presides in LA anyways. I like their melodious latino stuff more than their rap. Well. You should listen to this song. It's pretty catchy. For the most part, I like what the band stands for. Who knows. They're also the people with the movie that I put on my LJ. Yeah. Pimp my ride.

Quote is from Sai. Maybe she got it somewhere. I dunno. Anyhow, so Miyazaki wanted to taste what adobo was (it's a Filipino dish) after reading the Asian Reporter. So we went to a restaurant I knew and we ate adobo. Everyone (Sai, Helen, Miyazaki, Sarah and me) liked it. Wahoo. Then we went to the Macaroni Grill to get desert. We ordered the strawberry cheesecake (best desert I have ever tasted,) chocolate cake and tiramisu. According to Miyazaki, the tiramisu sucked. Ah well, all that mattered was the strawberry cheesecake. I don't even like cheesecake that much.

So, I'm switching out of honor's pre-cal into regular. It kinda sucks because I fucking got 100% on my math final last year, and I have an F in H Pre-Cal. Anyhow, my teacher believed I did enough math and gave me a "W" which stands for withdrawn, so on my transcript an "F" doesn't show, just a "W" which is mondo gondo better. <3 <3 <3 But now I have to write a letter for the colleges I applied/will apply to, explaining why I have a "W." Great. This will (not) be fun.

Finally, finished writing that damn research paper. 10/12 pages. I could've added a paragraph on her husband, which would have made it 11/12 pages...but I can't add any new thoughts to my brain right now because it just won't work. Ah well. Note the time.

Yeah, that was amusing. Not.

So, on Thursday, I was walking to school when I saw a couple making out in the corner. I was like yeah...ok, I'll just ignore them and pretend I'm not here. So, we cross the street and we're in the middle island thingy when I quickly glance over. I recognized the hair. I recognized the voice. I looked harder and I was like WTF IT'S BEEENNNN!!! Umm...the Outdoor School Ben. Atomic. It was traumatizing. I cried to Simoney and she laughed. Very hard.

Mom left for the Philippines yesterday. So, now I'm stuck with my father for a few more days. Kicked it with my grandfather, father and great-grand uncle (yeah, the one who's 100...remember? Todai's? Shun? (I should email that kid again.) If not, you're not missing out on much.)

I can't find that damn white binder that has everything for my research paper which is due tommorow. It has my second draft and I am stuck with the first. Damnit. I left it in Pioneer Place, but it is still nowhere to be found. Somewhat depressing as I will have to rack my brains...again...

"(I Hate) Everything About You" by Three Days Grace

We talked about fillibusters and clotures today in Government. It was awesome, though I don't remember way. I think it's the way our teacher talks.

Spanish 4, someone brought a guest. She was very cute and for some reason she kept on looking at me. I wonder if there was something on my face. Ah well, too bad she'll be a froshie next year when I'm GONE. Damnit.

Made myself sick in order to go home. I just didn't feel like being in school except for those two classes. I wish I had a Sanity Day.

Sarah got Colin's card signed by a bunch of people. It's jawesome. If I could scan it, then I would. But I can't. Samurai Michelle's note is kinda......Let's just say, Jenny kept on saying "eww, gross."

Hmm, headache. I'm gonna lie down.

Sarah wanted me to talk about the sim of me. So, Sarah made a family in the Sims 2 on Sai's computer. There was me. Yeah. I seduced a man named Maximillian and it was pretty hott. Literally. There. The end.

Now I will tell a story to annoy the hell out of Sarah. This is one of her "bad advice" stories. So, a long time ago, Sarah and I were walking around in Pioneer Place. I see this guy with the prettiest eyes I have ever seen. He sees me. Can't stop looking at each other. Blah blah blah. So I start talking to Sarah in my "I'm not really talking to you" way. "omg sarah, his eyes are so pretty blah blah blah." So she says "look, why don't you go after him? Go go go!" "But it'll be weird." "Dude, just go!" So, we go on this goose hunt around the mall when me and the guy finally meet up in Twist. So Sarah and I walk with him and his friend to the food court, where his friend buys some ice cream. We talk about...hmm...I don't remember. He's from New Orleans and he said something about tanning. He asked us what we liked, and being the sensible and tentative girls we are, we said comic books and video games. Then he talks about Anne Rice. Yeah. That's great. Then he gives me his number and said "you girls should come over to my place sometime, and I'll show you something more than comic books and video games." ... .. ..... So Sarah and I were like how about "no?". We go outside, call him and leave a lame message. The end.

Good job, Sarah. I totally did not need to meet him.

Bennifer came over yesterday and we played Fatal Frame (which kinda freaked him out) and Devil May Cry (which kinda confused him.) Ummm, yeah, that's it. No, really. That's it.

Nothing much happened today. The Thanksgiving prayer service was quite good. Justine and Maggie sung "Song of Bangladesh." It was absolutely beautiful and quite eerie. The actual song doesn't sound half as good as them (shyeah, she has the "old voice," while the feeling of the song feels different with younger people singing it. And yeah, there's a harpsichord in this song...and just no...but you could download it if you really want.) Acoustic guitars and their broken voices...I saw people tearing up. Haha, the joys of all-girls' schools. I've provided you with lyrics. Wahoo.

"Song of Bangladesh" by Joan Baez

Bangladesh, Bangladesh
Bangladesh, Bangladesh
When the sun sinks in the west
Die a million people of the Bangladesh

The story of Bangladesh
Is an ancient one again made fresh
By blind men who carry out commmands
Which flow out of the laws upon which nation stands
Which is to sacrifice a people for a land

Bangladesh, Bangladesh
Bangladesh, Bangladesh
When the sun sinks in the west
Die a million people of the Bangladesh

Once again we stand aside
And watch the families crucified
See a teenage mother's vacant eyes
As she watches her feeble baby try
To fight the monsoon rains and the cholera flies

And the students at the university
Asleep at night quite peacefully
The soldiers came and shot them in their beds
And terror took the dorm awakening shrieks of dread
And silent frozen forms and pillows drenched in red

Bangladesh, Bangladesh
Bangladesh, Bangladesh
When the sun sinks in the west
Die a million people of the Bangladesh

Did you read about the army officer's plea
For donor's blood? It was given willingly
By boys who took the needles in their veins
And from their bodies every drop of blood was drained
No time to comprehend and there was little pain

And so the story of Bangladesh
Is an ancient one again made fresh
By all who carry out commands
Which flow out of the laws upon which nations stand
Which say to sacrifice a people for a land

Bangladesh, Bangladesh
Bangladesh, Bangladesh
When the sun sinks in the west
Die a million people of the Bangladesh

However, this time I will not state why.

Anyhow, went to Saiyuki's parteh. We played DDR and Karaoke Revolution. Ummm...yeahno. Watched The Crow which was lame. Too lame. Played Fatal Frame for about two hours and finally fucking finished the SECOND NIGHT!!! OOOH BABY!!! Sai is a horrible walkthrough reader, but she did her job nonetheless. I only screamed once and meeped twice. I can't believe I had to use type-74 film on the Blind Demon. I felt useless. But I finished with a suitable amount of film, and that should be all that matters. I must admit, everyone's presence made me nervous. They jumped at almost everything. Turn the corner..."run run! aaah!!! run!!! no no, camera!" Good job guys. And the Talking Ghost? That was good stuff. It was like Devil May Cry all over again...with that one room...shyeah.

Retired around 3:30 am, but Sarah's room kept talking until about 5. I had to listen to Sai's gerbil chew and drink the night away. Talked to Sai's parents about college in the morning. Wahoo.

Good luck, Bennifer.

Nice try, Miyazaki.

I haven't heard this song for a long time.

Yesterday, I helped mom clean the house. Then she made me run errands and drive to Christian's house for the parteh. Bisio and Christian watched me park. Ha. Emeril came along later. They watched me play Fatal Frame for four hours (Jade: are you sure you don't want to play DDR or something? Christian: No, this is amusing. Bisio: Yeah, it's kinda freaky. Emeril: meep.) Yeah, I screamed twice, which is a lot for what I usually do during FF, which according to Comrade SARS is meepage. Pizza, presents, cake. Miyazaki came along. Bisio and Emeril left. We watched Monty Python: The Meaning of Life and Van Helsing. Went to sleep around midnight. Woke up at 7:45. Drove home.

Grandparents came over. Picked up Sarah. Went to Spirit Mountain. Sars and I sat in the lounge doing our homework. But not. We talked about the shirts. Ummm, yeah.

I think that's it.

Frustration Plantation (Rasputina cd)

Our teacher changed the room in the 15 15 so we're facing towards the windows. We were admiring the view when Jimmy-Fever said this charming little quote. Speaking of theology, I thought it was pretty hardcore today. After watching the film a lot of people felt really moved or really angry. Yeah, go Black Theology. Ah yes, SMA and our activism.

Hung out with Ben. He said he would wear the bunny ears for 10 minutes, but it was more like 10 seconds. Now I'm going to cry. He makes fun of my blog, the punk. And yes...punk is dead, emo is alive! He went with me to Borders to pick up Nymph by Francesca Lia Block. Yay for erotica. But she portrays sex in an interesting fashion (you agree, right Jamie?)

Afterwards, Mom and I went places. Got Sai's and Christian's bday present. Damnit, D still has Sai's invite for me T.T Got the soundtrack for Once Upon a Time in Mexico. I love that movie. I also got another Rasputina cd. Shyeah, this one. I think it's darker then the rest of the ones I've heard (5/8.) This is also when they had a guy in their band instead of all females (which it usually is.) I like "Thanks for the Ether" better. Or "Cabin Fever." Hmmm.... ... .. .. .... . .... OH GOD, RASPUTINA!!! COME BACK TO PORTLAND!!!

Over dinner, I told my mom I was/am a lesbian. She was quite amused. When I told her how it started, she started laughing. "That's so cute!" Wow, that wasn't what I expected. We decided to take myself off birth control because it kept on messing with my hormones and making me feel crappy. So, I get to start up again when I'm sexually active. *does the herpes dance*

In government, Mai and I were talking when our teacher remarked "Jade, are you using people for sexual gratification?" The class just kinda looked at him...or me. "Noooo~ Mr. Housley!"

I watched Anna in the Tropics at Portland Center Stage with a bunch of theatre club people. It was very...unsettling. Unsettling- like the way you scream silently at the end and your body starts to shake with all this nausea. Something like that. But PCS shows usually have that effect on me, for example Merchant of Venice and 36 Views. It was kinda funny because the SMA girls kept on gasping each time something scandalous happened. Oh man, I had fun watching the reactions of the audience. Some stuff I like about the play (spoilers)- I thought it was cool how they gave Malena the black coat to show the end of her innocence. I also liked the stark change in her character. I liked the way Mina's husband read the book at the end. I kinda wished the flowers of blood had appeared on the lector when he was shot, but I guess the pool of red light was okay. The set, sound and lights were awesome (but I always think PCS does a good job with those elements.) Good job with the wigs. Umm, yeah. Afterwards, we took a tour backstage and then watched the people dance in the lobby. Then I went home.

Yes, another new layout. I'm sure you're all quite overjoyed. The other was getting trite. And yes, I realize this layout is close to the layout I had two months ago. I promise I'll find a new layout style. Someday. Anyhow, yes, it's a RO pic. I still have the priestess layout on file, but I'm not a priestess yet. This fact makes me cry.

I looked through my past layouts and some of the coding seems...off. I don't know if it's just Firefox. Ah well, I'll look at it tommorow.
