Song!

From Eugene's writer's handbook

In this modern world, almost everyone listens to songs and music everyday, songs in any language, Chinese, English, or German. We often listen to piano music and songs that singers sing. Songs can make us feel blissful, relaxed, and make us feel that we enjoy our lives. Each person likes to listen to songs in this world. Have you ever met anyone that doesn't like listening to songs? I 'm sure your answer is "No". There is only one reason; everyone likes listening to songs that he or she sings and listens to everyday. Multitudinous peoples start carrying "CD players", "MP3 players", and instruments. Peoples often utilize those electrical devices at home. Sometimes they even use them when they are working, studying, reading, or strolling. Those electrical devices are useful for people who are bored, for people who feel sad, or even for anyone who wants to sing. There are many other reasons why we listen to music and songs. We just love to listen to them. If no one listens to songs in this world, this world will be boring and our lives will not be interesting anymore. If there is no music, more angry and sad people will appear. God provided songs and music for us to listen to. We should utilize anything this is offered from God. Besides that, we can even enhance our knowledge while we are singing. By listening to songs, we can learn different languages, such as French and Spanish. We can also learn how to play instruments by listening to musical pieces.

Everyone, including me, has his or her favorite songs. I can still remember how to sing my beloved songs. One of my favorite songs is "Let It Be". This song taught me numerous of things. It taught me why I should be blissful everyday, even if something terrible happened to me. This song is definitely poetry because this song has a lot of repeating words and phrases. Most of the words and phrases repeated in this song, the words only changed a few times. Besides that, this song is poetry because it teaches peoples a lot of things. It teaches everyone to be cheerful everyday; therefore, his or her life will be more amusing. This song can make people feel happy as well. It is a jovial song, a song that teaches you a lot of things, making you feel blithe. Whenever I hear this song, I remember that I should be gleeful at any time, even when I receive undesirable grades. I recall that this song made me feel happy whenever something horrible happened to me. I like listening to this song very much. I also like one other song, a Chinese song, called "Next Year, Today". It was sung by a man called Eason Chan. He puts a lot of feelings in his singing when he sings this song. This song is absolutely poetry because most of the words rhyme. It also uses different words on different pitches. A Chinese movie used this song for its theme song because the singer put so much feeling in it. This song is perfection for this movie. If I compare this song to my other favorite song, I will say I like this song more than "Let It Be". Although this song, "Next Year, Today", doesn't teach me anything, I still like this song more. I like the singer of this song more than Beatles, who sings "Let It Be". Therefore, I prefer "Next Year, Today" more than "Let It Be". Both of these songs are really good songs. In this modern world, almost every song is poetry. All the songs have feeling in them. We listen to joyful songs when we feel sorrowful, and we listen to tranquil songs when we are tired. Consequently, songs are good for everyone to listen to, and we should listen to them every day without stopping.
