- Therapist must have high level of personal development

- Therapist are highly active and directive

- Therapists should have sensitivity, timing, inventiveness, empathy, and respect for the client and respect for the client

- Incept therapist would easily damage the relationship and cause detrimental

- Therapists should be well trained and supervised; read, learn and practice more

- Clients express their feelings openly = sign of weakness

- Display one’s vulnerability
