Author Matthew Kennedy recently contacted me about his newly published biography about brilliant Hollywood Director Edmund Goulding. Everything I've read about the book so far indicates that this is a must have for any fan of vintage Hollywood. I am very much looking forward to adding this one to my collection. In addition to directing Nancy's The Devil's Holiday, Goulding directed Bette Davis in the classic, Dark Victory.

Author William M. Drew's books are a must for any serious fan of Hollywood past. You may already be familiar with Mr. Drew from his highly acclaimed book "Speaking of Silents: First Ladies of the Screen ". Drew's sequel is entitled, "At the Center of the Frame: Leading Ladies of the Twenties and Thirties." and is available at most bookstores.
