The most recent and popular ride in Adventureland is the Indiana Jones™ Adventure, Temple of the Forbidden Eye. This wild ride takes you through the jungles of India to excavation sites, then to your troop transport vehicle where the adventure begins. And please be sure not to look at the eye. We lose more guests that way. The wait for this ride can be 2 hours or more, but it's definitely worth the wait. Other popular attractions are The Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, the Jungle Cruise, and the Enchanted Tiki Room.
Donald says, "You'd better hurry to see the Tomorrowland of yesterday before the Tomorrowland of, well, tomorrow is here." Coming soon in 1998.
Give a big "Howdy!" for the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Be warned though, this is nothing like the Disneyland Railroad. Take a ride on a runaway mine train and hang on, it's going to be a bumpy ride! If the rough and tumble stuff isn't for you, you might like to take a peaceful ride down the Rivers of America on the Mark Twain, Columbia, Mike Fink's Keelboats, or Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes. Or take a raft and go exploring on Tom Sawyer's Island. Much more excitement awaits you and at night watch the nightime pyrotechnic spectacular, Fantasmic!
Here you can have your dreams come true in the land where classic Disney characters reside. There are many rides that have long lines, each depending on your interests. For a wild ride, you will want to go on a bobsled ride through the Alps on the Matterhorn Bobsleds. This ride wraps around the mountain in two directions so don't worry about people cutting. The wait can be up to 2 hours or so. Remember "Hang on to your liederhosen!" The long lines for the milder guests are Peter Pan's Flight, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Mad Tea Party, It's a Small World, and much more. One of my personal favorites is Alice in Wonderland, but then again, I like them all.
