To save her father's basketball franchise, daughter KK recruits a team of misfits, each with inner demons to overcome, to challenge an American team. Meanwhile, her estranged brother King Kong forms his own team. Except for David Ng Dai Wai, no one on the screen seemed to be having much fun. Maybe they all needed the money. We do get to see Kent Cheng Juk Si do a half court slam dunk though, after which he promptly has a heart attack.
In this movie, Ekin is a basketball superstar who helps KK make the best out of the misfits team. Ekin is fairly cute and good at basketball, (despite the fact that Ekin admitted that he couldn't really play at all). Let's Slam Dunk is also the first movie that Ekin is able to use his song (20th century) as the theme song.
