The importance of weekly meeting can be clearly seen when it was started in the division's constitution that the weekly meeting must be carried out at least 25 times a year. The weekly meeting is usually held from 9:00AM to 12:30PM, every Saturday. All members including the ambulance and nursing must attend the meeting in the division's T-shirt or in uniform.
The weekly meeting is scheduled well, systematically and thoroughly. It is always changed and upgraded so that the targets of weekly meeting can be achieved, where the members can get maximum benefits. The targets of weekly meeting are:
During weekly meetings, practices such as footdrill, stretcher drill, short case, long case and home nursing were carried out. Lectures will also be given by the doctors, medical officers, St. John Ambulance Malaysia officers and senior members, so that members will be able to work efficiently and accurately.
Sometimes social activities such as games, cleaning campaign etc. are added into weekly meeting too to make the meeting more meaningful.
