Arrowhead Provincial Park is full of natural beauty and wonder. Below are some of the common activities that comprised our daily adventures.

Morning Glory

Upon being awakened by the glorious sunshine...

... we often enjoyed a trip to Stubb's Falls, which happened to be a short hike from our campsite.

Here is where the Little East River winds down from Arrowhead Lake over a large rocky outcropping...

... dropping about 20 meters through a series of rapids or small waterfalls.

It was fun to swim in the pool at the foot of the falls, pushing against the torrent of water that was expelled from the heights above.

But the most enjoyment resulted from the three meter rock slide into one of the large steps in the middle of the falls.

The best way to cool off, was to climb into one of the steps...

...ease under the cascade...

... and let the water blast over you.

In the afternoon, you would often find us at one of the sandy beaches on Arrowhead Lake..
