I would like to thank all who attended our March 8th meeting. Our guest speaker, Anne Marie DeCicco, Deputy Mayor, had a great video presentation of London after an interesting speech.

Thanks go out to Roger Blais and Jane Colligan who presented Anne Marie with the Hamilton Road Area Book and flowers from Rowlands.

At our April 12th meeting Gil Smith, Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) and a member of HRABA, gave an informative talk regarding the direction of independent businesses in Ontario. Small business is the fulcrum for growth GDP and employment. Gil showed us that being a member of DFIB covered health and insurance programs, favoured Mastercard rates, preferred rates and services at Scotiabank, interpretation of Government programs and much more. We thank Gil Smith for taking the time to come speak at our association.
