Editor's Note: This is the first attempt to include information from my wife's family on this site, and I have less "personal knowledge" to use in detailing this information. If you see something on this page that is in error, or have something to add, please let me know via e-mail at huggfamily@yahoo.com . Talarowski descendents: As throughout this site, I've included little information about recent generations out of respect for the privacy of these family members. If you want to have your name, contact or other information included, please let me know. John J. Talarowski - b. 1863, d. 1933 Born in Eastern Europe, John served in the Prussian Army. Facing compulsory re-enlistment, he deserted -- first to Belgrade, Yugoslavia then to America. After settling in Wilmington, Delaware his fiancée Julia Luzinska (b. 1862, d. 1940) came to join John. They were married at Sacred Heart Church in Wilmington. John and Julia had eight children:
Benjamin Talarowski - b. 1890, d. 1952 With wife Maggie (no maiden name given), had nine children:
*Note: Maggie and Benjamin's daughters are listed with their maiden names even though several (if not all) of them married -- I've added and will add married names as I have them. Joseph Grabowski - b. ABT 1897 in Poland, d. ? Immigrated to the United States through Ellis Island in the early 1900's (editor's estimate: 1913). Married Martha (maiden name unknown) in 1917. Martha was born Decemeber 27, 1899 and died April, 1974 (AncestryPlus.com). The couple lived in Pennsylvania for a short time, where Joseph was a coal miner. They then moved to Wilmington, Delaware, where their son Edward was born (see below). Edward Grabowski - b. 11/2/1922 (or 11/5/1922) Martha and Edward were married in Wilmington, Delaware. They lived in and near Wilmington, where they raised four children while Ed worked nearby for Amtrak. Martha passed away after a long bought with illness on August 15th, 1987. Ed, known as "Dzia Dzi" to his family, enjoys his retirement with his family, which has grown to include nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
