Day 3

DAY THREE: 9TH JUNE 1999, THURSDAY (BUNBURY TO BUSSELTON TO DUNSBOROUGH TO PEMBERTON
It was so incredible all 6 of us gurls actually overslept and we had to rush through breakfast. Like I've said the farm was so lovely and comfy we thought we were staying in home sweet home. Sandra gave Mr John and family a photo sticker Stefan, Sandra, Esther and I took before the trip. They loved it!!
Met up with the rest of the group with our luggages and we were off again!! We did everything in quite a rush that day cos we had to travel long distances and needed to reach our destination for the day before dark.
First stop for the day was a shopping mall over in Busselton. We only had half an hour so everyone rushed! Sandra, Esther and I headed to the supermarket to top up our supplies of gum and sweets... and we had a lil' more time to buy some stuff at a gift shop before rushing back to the tour bus. Before lunch we were taken to Busselton Jetty, the longest jetty in the Southern Hemisphere! The view was great!! We had lunch in a chinese restaurant... hrm we've got them everywhere in Singapore and we still wondered why they took us to one there hehehe
After lunch we headed further to Dunsborough and visited the Ngilgi Cave which was discovered in 1899! It was incredible and great fun but pretty breathless in there cos of the relative humidity. And we were sweating in there for the very first time since the trip.
Stoppped at a lovely beach for like 10 mintues to take pics and we were on the move again!! We were way behind time so when we reached our destination "Karri Valley Resort" it was already dark. We checked into the resorts (6 of us gurls again) and were told to meet the group later on. Haha and something happened. That place was realllyyy dark and when we got out all we could see was the path infront of us so 6 of us just walked along whatever we could see and slowly others from the group followed and soon there were like 20++ of us walking wherever we could see, we didn't know where it was leading us and soon enough we realised the tour bus wasn't there and we knew we were lost!! *gasp*
Luckily some got a ride from someone from the resort and the bus came to us! This time we were wayyyyy beind time. Everyone was starving! Guess what we headed to a chinese restaurant (again!!). Ohh yea we celebrated Miss Oh's birthday there! It was really cool :)
