History

Founded in 1980 as a sole proprietorship, Hullin Carpentry and Repair entered the Fond du Lac market in a humble form. Basic work consisted primarily of small residential repairs and simple interior remodeling. When the business began, founder Phil Hullin promised himself to keep his business simple and maintaining of the personal touch. Uncertain of the need for such a service, he soon found that residents seldom knew where to turn for small repair work at a reasonable cost. Phil began to gain a strong customer base formed on trust and reputation. He often found himself working in neighborhoods at a time due to word-of-mouth referrals.

Through the years, the business expanded into more involved remodeling projects. Although these larger projects increased business potential and profit margin, Phil never lost the personal trust and loyalty to the individual customer. Even to this day every job--no matter how large or small--receives total effort and commitment to quality.
