Another Successful Tournament - Results Posted
This year's Fond du Lac Open drew a group of 78 players--an all-time high! Thanks to
everyone who came out and made it a success. Also, a big THANKS to Scott and Brandon
at the Fondy Disc Golf Club
for keeping the tournament going. And, of course, thanks to the event sponsors who helped
make it financially possible. Check out the
tournament results.
3rd Annual Fond du Lac Open - April 5th
The Fond du Lac Open returns for its third straight year. This year's tournament is being
organized by our friends at the
Fondy Disc Golf Club. The tournament is a PDGA sanctioned C-tier event. There are
multiple brackets, and the day will include two-rounds of 18 along with other contests in
between rounds. Temporary baskets will be up at holes 7 and 10.
Make it out on April 5th and show your support for disc golf in Fond du Lac. Learn more about
the tournament and registration

Course Construction Scheduled for Summer
The FDL Parks Dept. is still planning to expand the overflow pond at Adelaide Park sometime this summer.
Because of this, several holes at Adelaide will be removed. This means a few things:
- Adelaide will be under construction and mostly unplayable.
- Adelaide may be in for some drastic redesign once the pond is expanded.
- We will probably be looking for additional course sponsors to help fund the redesign.
- We will probably be looking for volunteers to help reconstruct the course.
Get in touch with us if you'd like to offer help in any of the areas listed above. Thanks.
Baskets Stolen from Adelaide
And now for some aggravating news... Two baskets were stolen from Adelaide on the night of October 27th.
The baskets were sawed off at the base. As you probably know, Mach III baskets are made of steel and, while not solid,
are fairly thick at the base. Sawing them down must have taken a bit of effort and, most likely, some power tools.
We're sure someone saw or heard something.
If you have any information regarding this crime, please contact the Crime Tip Line at (920) 906-4777.
We'd really like to get the course back to a full 18.
Thanks to Disc Golf Around the Corner for the graphic above.
