July 16th, 2001:
Happy Bithday to Vort! A gentleman, scholar, and all around great guy.
Yes, Vort's the only person who even contributes to this site. He's the only one who makes an effort to email me new ideas. Vort was the only person to look for my dog when it jumped the fence, chasing after a rabbit. He took the time to collect pennies for UNICEF during that tremendous heat wave last year. Vort traveled back though time and saved everybody from the sinking Titanic. Vort invented the movable type press, Vort signed the Declaration of Independence before anyone else, and was so well liked that the British chose not to target him for assassination.
But above all that, Vort's wife plays battle mode with me until 5 am on Saturday nights. And for that, I say HUTEKI!

These are questions I hear everyday, and quite frankly I'm sick of it. You bastards! Don't you know that you can't join The Risen? The Risen joins you. Like a parasite. Even if you could join, why would you? Do you even know what we do? Of course not, because we do nothing! You know what Orb and I say to you people who want to join The Risen? This:

Apologies go out to the two fans of this site. I haven't updated the site in a week because of the lure of PSO Version 2. In fact, I should be playing right now, so I'll make this brief.

Site updates & news:
We have a new message board! It's uncensored, so head on over there and curse your head off!
The Risen welcomes The Lords of Ragol , the newest affiliated clan. They wanted in for some reason. I mean it's not like we do anything.
The Fallen has been defeated! We kicked their ass so bad the whole group fell apart! A proud Huteki salute goes out to all of you, especially Double Agent Trigunner, who infiltrated their clan and planted the seeds of destruction.
I will play battle mode with anyone, but only the palace stage. All the other battle modes are a complete farce.
A new article by Professor Snarf is up.

That's all. I'm off to power level, so people will stop calling me a slacker (even though they leave work at 2 on everyday to play PSO while their wives cook them dinner. Shoushi...)
