Indira Park
One of the pleasant parks situated on the lower Tankbund road, it
has several small ponds amid the trees, which make it a good spot
for in-city picnics. Boating facility is one of the other attractions. |

Lumbini Park
One of the most recent parks, it has a musical fountain with the shows
held at specific timings. You could also go for a boat ride, the entry
for boating is through Lumbini Park. |

Public Garderns
The city's largest and oldest park, it is located in Nampally, adjacent
to the State Legislative Assembly building. Built in 1846 by the Nizam
Government it is very beautifully built with lush green trees, on
the right side of the park is a small beautifully constructed mosque.
To the left is the 'Jawar Bal Bhavan' a small auditorium for childre.
It encloses the State Legislature, State Archaeological Museum, Jubilee
Hall, Jawahar Bal Bhavan and Telugu Lalitha Kala Thoranam, and oper
air theater. |
