What's HyogoAJET?
A chapter of the Association for Japan Exchange Teaching, we are a volunteer group looking after the interests of JET participants living and working in Hyogo Prefecture.

We maintain this website for our members, prospective JET participants and the general public.

We publish a yearly living guide for new JET participants posted in Hyogo Prefecture.

We maintain a library of books for borrowing by local prefectural AJET members.

We coordinate, organize and facilitate many activities, charity events, and social gatherings.

We publish a monthly magazine - “The Hyogo Times” for HyogoAJET members.

Becoming a member of HyogoAJET is optional for anyone who joins National AJET, either at the time of joining or afterwards. Currently HyogoAJET membership numbers over 100, one of the largest chapters in Japan. HyogoAJET boasts a diverse and enthusiastic executive committee.

AJET is a division of the National Association for Japan Exchange Teaching, an organisation for Japan Exchange Teaching (JET) programme participants. National AJET serves as a link between JET Programme participants, organisers and sponsors. It is the backbone of all prefectural chapters across the country.

Print out your membership form and fill it out NEATLY and COMPLETELY.

Send the form and any money for costs incurred by Prefectural/SIG/NG membership, Tatami Timeshare, or AAJ paper version to
