David Eisbach First Judicial District Probation Parole Officer |

We are proud to introduce David Eisbach as The Iowa Community Based Corrections first Official “Spotlight Employee.” David was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa and graduated from Loras College in Dubuque. David was originally a TASC Officer (Substance Abuse Counselor) in the 5th Judicial District Department of Corrections for Intensive Probation/Parole. He helped start up the Des Moines Drug Court and was a TASC Liaison to the court. In 1997, David became a Probation/Parole Officer III, working with the Youthful Offender Program in Des Moines, Iowa. David then moved back to Dubuque with his family where he took a voluntary demotion to Probation/Parole Officer II, working with the Sex Offender Program. Currently David is waiting for the opening of the new Dubuque Residential Facility where he’d like to transfer into another position. The special program groups and duties that he has facilitated include the following: Victim Impact Groups, Sexual Offenders Group, Youth At Risk, Cognitive Skills, Driving Unimpaired, Life Skills, and Auditing LSI-R assessments in Dubuque. David is married to his Jenny and stays actively busy with their four children. |
