• 1928 - December 15 Hunderwasster was born in Vienna and named Fridrich Stowasser.
  • 1934 - At the age of six he produced his first juvenile drawing.
  • 1943 - He procuded his first deliberate crayon naturalistic drawing.
  • 1948 - He achieved his school-leaving certificate and spent three months at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, under Prof. Robin Christian Andersen.
  • 1949 - He changed his name to Friedensreich Hundertwasser, which means "Peace-Kingdom Hundred-Water.
  • 1952 - Hundertwasser had his first exhibition at the Art Club of Vienna.
  • 1953 - Hundertwasser painted his first spiral.
  • 1954 - Hundertwasser's first exhibition in Paris at Studio Paul Facchetti.
  • 1958 - He married Gibraltar.
  • 1960 - He receiveed the Mainichi Prize at the 6th International Art Exhibition, Tokyo. Had a very successful exhibiton in Tokyo. Divorce Gibraltar.
  • 1961 - He married Yuko Ikewada.
  • 1966 - He divorced Yuko Ikewada.
  • 1969 - He finished one of his popular work named "Good Morning Citiy".
  • 1971 - He worked on the Olympia poster for Munich in Lengmoos and was the first European painter to have his works cut by Japanese masters.
  • 1976 - His world touring exhibition.
  • 1978 - He designed the Peace Flag and finish yet his another important worked named "Song Of The Whales".
  • 1982 - He became an architecture doctor.
  • 1983 - Received the gold medal for the most beautiful postage stamp from Italy's President Sandro Pertini.
  • 1994 - "The 30-day Fax Picture" was produced.
  • 1996 - The unveiling of the Danube ship, MS Vindobona, redesigned by Hundertwasser and was awarded the Tourism Prize of Viennese Industry.
  • 2000 - He died on Saturday, February, 19, in the Pacific, on board the Queen Elizabeth II from a heart attack. According to his wishes he was being buried in harmony with nature on his land in New Zealand, in the Garden of the Happy Deads, under a tulip tree.
