My Image

This is my 3d poster inspired by Hundertwasser. My 3d poster is based on the spirals, which is one of Hundertwasser’s styles of drawing. How I got this lollipop garden idea was because I found out that Hundertwasser has a habit of just starting with a spiral in the right hand corner if the paper then spread the drawing outwards whenever he has no inspiration, so I copied his way of starting and then somehow got this lollipop garden idea. For my lollipop garden, I used ice cream stick as the handle or the stem of the lollipops. The ice cream stick are also shaved slightly along the side to get rid of straight line which is something that Hundertwasser strongly restrict from having in any of his works. The laying of the ice cream stick is to create a real depth of some of the lollipop so that when some one looks at it, they can see and feel that some are really close and some are far even though the lollipops are of same size. At the end I still did cut some spiral bigger and some smaller to make the depth really more obvious. My spirals are also done in a way that they can also be rotated or spin so my poster now is more interactive other then just a piece of work that can only be looked at. As for the color I choose to use bright and solid color as Hundertwasser is well know for his highly saturated color used no matter what happens. Color is a fact that overpowers all of Hundertwasser work. Decided to use construction paper as the colors of the paper is more bold and solid. Colors for my spiral are decided by copying some of the color scheme that Hundertwasser has used before in his works. Decided not to do typography as Hundertwasser’s typeface are normally very the hand written other then customize typefaces that is already avalible.
