In order to apply the AT process in refinery we developed the industrial grade Bubble Implosion Reactor (BIR) with new effective Bubble Generator (Patents Pending) ( 5, 6 ). The bubbles collapsing inside BIR created: a - the imploding shock waves, b - ultraviolet light waves, c - high temperature spherical waves. Every of this wave form phenomena significantly influence on the processed fluid media. Its combination permits to use of the BIR devices in refinery as: 1 - the universal fluid media mixer, 2 - effective process activator, 3 - cold type petrochemical reactor.
The spherically imploded bubbles activate the main chemical reactions within the stream of the crude oil or its derivatives being processed. The BIR devices can be used in several refinery processes by connecting it with the oil pumps. One oil pump can be used for service of several BIR devises. Scheme of the pipeline with two BIR devices shown on the next page ( 7 ).
APPLICATIONS AND BENEFITS: 1. Treatment of crude oil can destroy the long and heavy organic molecules and increase the gasoline yields. 2. Treatment of straight-run gasoline can increase its quality and octane number. 3. Treatment of the heavy fraction before cracking can increase its quality. 4. Activation Sulfuric-Oxygen Alkylation process can improve quality of products. 5. Preparation of the lubricant- coolant liquids process can increase the output and improve quality of products. ADVANTAGES: 1 - Increased output, 2 -Increased quality of products, 3 - Accelerated reactions, 4 - Saved raw materials, 5 - Reduction of power usage, 6 - Minimum workspace. The BIR is a new generation of the cold-type petrochemical reactors designed for processing of crude oil and its derivatives. Usage of the BIR in refinery industry can increase the quality and quantity of gasoline produced. The AT process and BIR devices are also environmentally safe.
