If there is one thing that the Rum Tum Tugger does well, it's living up to his name of being a curious beast. Something of a mix between Elvis and John Travolta from Saturday Night Feaver, Tugger is the hearthrob of nearly every queen in the Junk Yard (most notably Etcetera). His ideal match would look to be Bombalurina, but since she puts the moves on him first, he tends to ignore her only likeing what he can catch for himself. He can be a little silly at times, and he always enjoys being in the middle of attention. He is another visible Jellicle, due to the thick mane of hair and distinctive leopard spots around his paws and on his chest. For the first few numbers of the musical, he is still identifiable, dispite the fact that he hasn't put on his trademark mane.While Rum Tum Tugger acts somewhat immature, and can appear self - centered, he does know his limits, and is careful to give respect to where it is due. Some of the looks Munkustrap gives him makes it appear that the tabby can have his patience stretched to the limit by Tugger, but the two of them also share the duty of telling the other members of the tribe about Old Deuteronomy.
