DANNETTE ROBERTSON:I have been employed by Merced County since July 1984 and became a full time employee in February 1985 when I joined I.E.M.C.
Since that time I have served in the capacity of Director, Treasurer, President and now Secretary. I have also been on the Negotiation Team in the past (at least three (3) times).
I have worked in the District Attorney's Office all of my career with the County and am currently the Legal Secretary in the Juvenile Division.
My philosophy regarding Union participation is to not be a lagger! Be a team player and help your Union, (who is working behind the scenes for you at all times)
by participating in whatever way you can, even if that is only by being a dues paying member.

Board Members |

MARIA RIOS: I am currently a Director on the Board of IEMC. I also held the position of Treasurer for one year. I am employed with the Merced County
District Attorney's Office and am a Paralegal in that office. I have been a county employee for about 20 years and have always belonged to the union, but have just recently
become more involved in union business by being a member of the board. My belonging to the union and paying dues is a way of showing my support for all county employees.
It is important to have a strong union. Which means having as many members as possible, when it comes to negotiating with Administration for higher salaries,
better working conditions, etc.
