IEMC CONTRACT RATIFIED!

The votes are in and YOU have voted to accept our new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Unit 3
What this means to you:

For 2001
  • 3.5% raise the first pay period in July 2001
  • 2.5% on the 24th pay period
  • Employee Loyalty Bonus $250.00 for all employees who have or will achieve 10 years employment (20,800 accumulated paid hours) as of December 31, 2001 25th pay period,
    (will coincide with sick leave sell back)
  • Night Shift Differential $.50 to $.75
  • On call increased to $2.50
  • Bilingual pay increased to $.55
For 2001

  • Plus you will be brought up to 97.5% average pay in pay period 24
  • Employee Loyalty Bonus $500.00 for all employees who have or will achieve 10 years employment (20,800 accumulated paid hours) as of December 31, 2001 25th pay period,
    (will coincide with sick leave sell back)
  • On call increased to $2.75
  • Bilingual pay increased to $.60
For 2003
  • 2.5% raise the first pay period in July 2003
  • Plus you will be brought up to 100% average pay in pay period 24
  • Employee Loyalty Bonus $750.00 for all employees who have or will achieve 10 years employment (20,800 accumulated paid hours) as of December 31, 2001 25th pay period,
    (will coincide with sick leave sell back)
  • On call increased to $3.00
  • Bilingual pay increased to $.65
The County has also agreed to:
  • Establish Labor Management Committee
  • Term Life Insurance increased to $10,000.00
  • Temporary Promotion Pay increased to 10%
  • Some changes in the Leave of Absence language, Bereavement Leave and Probation Period
  • Agency Shop Vote during term of agreement with at least 30 days notice to the County

  • IEMC will put together our new MOU in booklet form after signing and will be available to our members.
